hrm...this one poses quite a challenge. Blueberries will turn most things that color...I'm guessing the custardy part is supposed to be a cheesecake, but if so it's very "New York Style". Yet the crust looks like it was sideswiped from an apple-pie. :confused: Schenectady. :cool:

OK, wife and I are both sick with a icky cold thing. She had it a couple days before me. They say it is important to share in a relationship, so she wins in spades for being top notch sharer. :D

Soooooo I give up catching up today. lol It is going too fast and I imagine that is to race to 20K. I may not be much of a contributor to the final leg.

Lindal.. thanks for the tip on Grendals. I love that place and everything they have is high quality and low cost. If ever I decide to go with more then my one prim box to sit on (I recycle) :D I will check them out as well as others, but with my oddball taste (much to wifey's dismay) Grendals will likely have the look. hehe

/obligatory "drink lots of fluids" advice...

Strange at it sounds, if I feel myself coming down with a cold, I go and exercise - I attempt to get my body temperature up, like a false fever, to hopefully kill off some of the infection, and give my body a better chance of killing the rest of it off.

Usually seems to help.

as always, your mileage may vary...

Old and heavy, but solid mahogany. If I were to move it, I'd fly down, rent a truck and move it myself. I agree - you have to be careful moving stuff like that, but the workmanship on this desk is very good. The joints are all tight, the joinery is otherwise excellent and the desk is very solid.

I think I'm going with the nicer desk. That way I can take my time with my dad's desk, and maybe Craiglist the new one when I don't need it anymore.


Good plan (late to the desk-deciding party, but them's my 2 cents worth)

I did plan on doing less flowery more butch versions...hehe
I think they look good but my taste are bit perverted.
The pink flowers do have pink high heel sandals.
I don't know if Max would like that though.
