It's so nice of you guys to carry on a conversation with me about my cats.

That proves what I always say that Siamese cats are a lot like dogs. My two just don't care. I mean they know they're supposed to jump off the counters if a human comes in the kitchen but they sure don't feel embarrassed if you catch them.

Back in the 50's and even 60's and 70's people were a lot more susceptible to messages on tv and the big screen.

She ROCKED. Loved how she kept taking Worf by surprise. All those generations of Trill knowledge...

lol - we'll carry on a conversation with anybody about just about anything. You have beautiful cats! They remind me of my buddy Grover, who was a Siamese stray I had for years and years. He was a really beefy cat, though, not the typical thin Siamese, and he had a little crook at the tip of his tail that he could curl up - it was like the tip of his tail had been broken and healed all wonky. What a great cat. He never shut up and all he wanted to ever do was climb into your lap and nap.

It was so sad when she died! I wanted them to have a baby and live happily ever after. It took me a while to warm up to Ezre.

Sounds like a great cat, Trout (heh..a Trout owning a cat..heh). I love it when kitties want to be sociable.

One of my friend's Siamese cats, named Gandalf, would greet me at the door, talk to me as I walked through the house, and as soon as I sat down, would leap up and proceed to purr and knead my chest.

The purring was nice, and I appreciated the kneading, but ouch! I took to wearing or bringing a sweatshirt every time I would visit. Those little claws were pointy!

I know!! I sobbed. Took me completely by surprise (of course, I read later that the actress was going to another show, so that's why they wrote her out of DS9).

And Ezri...I had a hard time with her, too. Waay too perky.

the best thing ever about cats besides the fact they are so neat in every ways is?

mine would have to be the back massages in the mornings the neck massages while watching a movie and the chin massages while laying down..and who cannot fall asleep to that purring? lol
i would get another cat but i'm not sure how my mastiff named Jed and a cat would get along..i mean he has never eaten another animal..

well alomst one time but not really..
my sister had a chihuahua one time that tried to get alpha with him..
Jed just layed there while this little dog bounced and barked and growled at him until he touched Jeds nose..then like a vacume Jed sucked him in his mouth .we all looked at each other in shock for a second ..like omg he swallowed him holy crap!!!!!

Then Jed just kind of spit him out without a scratch on him..the litle dog was in shock and never messed with Jed again..Jed went back to sleep and my sister went to the vet freaking out..
me and my dad were like ..WoW after she left..almost kind of proud of how Jed handled it lol
now it's just something we talk about and laugh..my sister does too lol

My lost Siamese, Max, used to knead me and drool on me at the same time. Frank and Jadzia purr loudly but knead barely at all and they both mercifully skip the drooling. They usually greet us at the door when we come home - and then try to lead us into the kitchen on the off chance we'll feed them.

I love that they both snuggle up with me when I sleep.

She kind of grew on me after awhile when she toughened up a bit. I loved DS-9 it was my favorite Star Trek show.

just catching up after days of falling behind, and i sort of gave up a few pages back and just came to these last two.

last night we partied at some friends' house, and they have a cute little itty bitty kitten they rescued from the barn cat litter out back. i spent the whole night with that baby. and while i listened to the conversation and laughed and all that, i did not play cards or drink or talk much... i had a kitten to play with. who can compete with that? little cutey pie fell asleep in my shirt, so i sat quietly with teh girls and just enjoyed the baby. i miss having kittens around.

sounds like i missed a party, or even two of them. glad you all had fun, even if it was a lagfest. i dunno if i have the flickr page bookmarked, but i'll try to find the recent pics.

We talking about Dax? I can't read all that I've missed, but I did like Ezri. Just a different person than Jadzia. I wish I weren't allergic to cats. I'd get a kitten.

I always get the same diabetic reaction from Ezri as I got from Wesley Crusher.

Yup. It's Dax. I finally did warm up to Ezri, but it took a while.

Oh, no, Wesley is in an entirely different plane of existence. That boy made me crazy. Amazing how he could save the day, every time.

I always wanted to wring that little weasles neck - that kid drove me nuts.

Yeah I have an aversion to perky people too. But later on she did some real fighting and then I started liking her better.
