I just read the music URL thread, LOL! Utter cooocooness...

Soccer is actually quite exciting when you watch it with a crowd, in a tavern or a bar. Last year, during the France/Italy game, the streets here were overflowing with people cheering and watching from the sidewalks (bars were too full). When Italy won, everyone streamed out of Little Italy and drove over to 'our' side of the city to honk their horns and taunt(sp?) us, hehe. It was great!

I have a nephew in law that LOVES soccer. He got mad at me when I told him all the cheering was just because people were excited that someone actually scored. :D

Wow - I missed a lot! I've had a busy couple of days getting ready to change jobs at the end of the month. It's exciting, but I don't get to get on as much as I'd like.

Lessee...lots of discussion on shopping and shoes. I can ignore that. Lots of vampire kitties. Cute, but I'm still warm blooded. Some locking discussion (knocks on wood). I think we're safe here. Uh...music, photospheres, Joseph's dad is doing well! Good news there! I'm starting to develop an affinity for football/soccer, so I like Max's updates. We don't have great coverage here in the States, especially with the NBA finals and the horrid, inhuman Mets managment (heh heh...Brenda...your team sucks!) stories.

That's about it. Another day in paradise.

I'm actually worried about playing the Mariners this weekend...who fired THEIR manager today.

I wish to retract an earlier comment:

I just went back to the stealth lock thread. I totally missed Trout's post there about Millie's lock. When I saw Trout say it was spamming I went back to re-read it. Then I saw the OP's links at the bottom of his post advertising the free lindens place. NOW it makes sense to me. hehe

Just wanted to express my whoops.

I REALLY tried to get into Soccer when we had the World Cup in '94. I worked that Summer tending bar at a place in Queens that was frequented by mostly Irish and some Colombians. The enthusiasm was infectious, but as for the game itself...Meh. but then again, I like Auto Racing.

Unless it becomes a spam thread, we allow it to go into a trolling/flaming heaven (ignore all trolls in here) or it becomes negative talk/personal grievances between two people or more it is golden.

This is one lock I would challenge and already have the ammunition for thanks to the guidelines, etc. :D
