shoot. i have 2 puters going here. one for this, one for inworld action LOL
I have the same setup here. SL barely runs on my Mac anymore so I have to use Windows. Nicholaz BE still runs on the Mac and I use it occasionally but most of the time I use Nicholaz EC on Windows. I use the Mac for everyting else.

Using two computers with two keyboards at the same time can be confusing. I was trying to do a Google search on one computer and I typed the search terms into open chat on the other one.

Make sure you hit the fly button as soon as you log on, otherwise you'll start falling fast.

It makes me sad when I have to say this to people, but that's kind of a scam. The only people who'll ever know that star is named after you (besides you) is the person who prints out the certificate and mails it to you.

Don't get me wrong - it's a great IDEA. I would love having someone that wanted to name a star after me - that would be cool.

What I don't like is people making money by saying they're doing something, when they're really not doing anything. It's like somebody selling plots of land on Venus, giving you a deed and telling you that yes, you really DO own that land. That's not cool, cuz it's not true.

Take your SO outside, point to a star you both can SEE, and tell him you'll always name that star after him. That would be cooler. :)

I'm aiming for 1,000,000 meters up, or until I hit the end of the world. I'm traveling somewhere around 250 m/s, so it shouldn't take much more than an hour total.
