From: LittleMe Jewell The 83,000 shown on the index page is the number of replies and is therefore one less that the total number of posts in the thread. So, Brenda posted reply #83,000 which is post number 83,001 in the thread (or it is post #83,001 until Pep deletes some more of his old stuff). Clever and Smart! .

From: Pserendipity Daniels No, I don't; [my social skills] work very well. They deter most of those those I despise and have contempt for (with a few exceptions who are too stupid to realise that they are not wanted) and attract those with intelligence, a sense of humour and a sense of proportion. And yet here you are, in the midst of all of us, by your own choice. Hoisted by your own petard. .

From: Pserendipity Daniels Precisely. I have noted that most of the EQ books are in large type with not many long words tosuit their intended audience. i will note that your opinion is of little value or consequence to the rest of the world. From: someone You can't "score" anything on EQ. It is such a nebulous concept that it is unmeasurable. wrong. anything and everything can be measured and scored. From: someone No, I don't; they work very well. They deter most of those those I despise and have contempt for (with a few exceptions who are too stupid to realise that they are not wanted) and attract those with intelligence, a sense of humour and a sense of proportion. LMAO! sometimes you are so delicious, you know that? LOLOLOLOL From: someone Pep (The problem with EQ; it assumes that being nice to everyone is a good idea!) oh, i assumed you had read up on it (and you even stated that you had). my bad.

From: Claire Silverspar /me has finally managed to sit down with my tea and start watching my Audrey Hepburn tapes Yesterday my younger sister came to have lunch with me (again). I took her to Tiffany's and tried to explain the idea of breakfast at Tiffany's - I mean Holly Golightly's idea of it. She tried to be scornful but ended being overawed. I thought there was a quote that explained the title, but this was the closest I found: From: Holly Golightly What I've found does the most good is just to get into a taxi and go to Tiffany's. It calms me down right away, the quietness and the proud look of it; nothing very bad could happen to you there, not with those kind men in their nice suits... .

What are you reading, this week? I am reading James Patterson's newest "The Quickie", about a lady cop. so far, she's impulsive, unthinking and she isn't very bad-ass. kind of like me.

Just finished reading the 4th book in the Black Dagger Brotherhood series by J.R.Ward. I saw it at the shop along with the latest Anita Blake and couldn't resist either of them. I put off rereading Clan of the Cave Bear so thats next.
