Thanks for breakfast, Mo! Yesterday I made steel-cut oatmeal for breakfast, and today I still had about half leftover, so I substituted 1 Cup cooked oatmeal for 1 Cup pancake mix (the recipe for pancakes calls for 2 C) and made oatmeal pancakes. Super yum! oooh! Oatmeal pancakes!! Yum! I will have to try those.  |

From: Allegria Kanto @Amara, so glad your mom is feeling better. My mother had a fall at Christmas, and is still recovering from a fractured pelvis. She's about the same age as your mom. Oh no!! I'm so sorry to hear about your mom, Allie. That sort of fracture does take a long time to heal. |

It does seem to hurt less as time goes on though. My Mom had one of those inflatable donuts to sit on. Helped her a lot during the early part of recovery.
