I love what SL has done for us -

might seem a nonsequitor but- before SL - why in the hell would another country's holidays have any impact or even notice to us?

Before SL I had no real concept of time zones- yes fine i was parochial perhaps- but it was not relevant to my life experience - now i am aware of what time the people i expect in my life are moved by (Time Zones Suck).

I have learned people are screwed up royally all over the world and I do not hold the market on neuroses and split personalities... I have learned tolerance to things that once bothered me; i have learned there are things i cannot tolerate no matter what; i have found i have a creative streak; i have found out that all the people that told me i was stubborn - were right -

I have found that though i am a loner mostly and do not seek out new friends there are sooo many cool people i want to be part of my life :) - I also found out how big a thing can be and fit on a 512... back to wrnagling prims ;) (Somebody save me from myself)

Progress is pretty slow on that Bay City thing: I update my signature daily, if not every 2 days pertaining to such thing.

Anyone wanna submit me an update about Shiraz? :)

She's very pleased. :) Thank you Treasure, you're my first sunbeam customer. Be sure to read the notecard -- there is a lot of customization you can do to it.

Amaranthim's been so kind to host this for me. She's a remarkable lady. Thanks Ama.

I love this.

I'd lurked off and on, but didn't post till my name got dropped. ;) I'm not so sure that LL will cancel the forum. I think it serves a much different purpose than the knowledge base, and I think they know it. Call me Polyanna, I suppose.

Call me cynical, I suppose, but at this point, I don't think LL knows their ass from a hole in the ground

Thanks 3 :) Though its all fair, I was working your Memorial Day, just a normal day here.
God save HRH. Apparently there is a bit of bother over the fact that she was not invited to next month's D-Day celebrations at Dunkerque.

:) Being connected with people all over the world is my favorite thing about the internet - and SL.

/me blinks and try to read a few posts back... Sunbeam? That must be a great effect for pictures. Maybe you get more customers from this thread!

Great pic, Lula! I love how you use your eyes.... a "come hither" look.

It was another thread, "What would kill SL for you". I am not sure where that thread was. I never replied in it, but I think that if SL was so advanced to run that my main computer couldn't handle it anymore... then I couldn't take pictures?!? :(

The money I spend on SL now, is my "entertainment money". If I didn't shop on SL, I would buy something in RL, like glossy magazines, books, DVDs or just other things. It would feel very different to buy a new computer just for my entertainment. The computer is so old that my hubby almost get laughed at when he buys some upgrade for it. And I think it's not possible to upgrade it much more.

I want to try the Shadow viewer, or more exact, order Hubby to install it, hehe.

Ok, so who's watching "So You Think You Can Dance?"

I haven't been watching any of these competition programs anymore, just can't keep up with them but happened to notice last night that this one started again so I tuned in. I love this one because it's usually pretty low on cheese factor (for the most part) although that judge Mary Sunshine (I never remember her real name) god she gets on my last nerve, is about as cheesy as they need. I'm more in awe of people who can move really well than sing for some reason, probably because I'm such a klutz :D
When I talked to my daughter, she mentioned the new one had started and that she got the dvr set to record it. I like this one better than most of the competition things.

I have to run to work soon, but first TY to all who liked my pictures. Maybe I can't come back and read more here, the weekend will be busy. It's a 3-days weekend, the monday is a national holiday in my country. And I will celebrate my daughter's 3-year old birthday, so I need to bake a cake and do some cleaning up.

I also did a RL picture for a friend of a friend. It's nice to see that the tricks I learn on my SL pictures helped me to fix that old pic from the fifties. It was a B/W pic with the top of the head cut off, I added on the hat from another pic and made a fake sky. Maybe I post before and after pic here later, if the forum stay up.

I just have to fangirl Glitterati poses a bit more. I can't belive I haven't been there before. She has a whole range of family poses. Great for those who develop SL partnerships and adopt kids. This is a building separate from the ordinary poses building. Good for sensible eyes!

The main poses build has a section with smoking hot poses. She even has poses made for gay men. I am so tempted to buy one of those because I think it can work well for a hetero couple too.

And she has wedding poses that I liked so well that I almost wanted to do a SL marriage, just for the pictures... lol. And all the props, and some free poses too. I really liked her work!

I've made myself late for bed, but I had to do a quick fashion plate for this amazing outfit I found at [Gauze]. It's called 'Requiem'. Originally comes with very short glitch pants, but I wanted longer pants (so I made my own), and I didn't wear the top hat that comes with it (which is also great, but not what I wanted for this shoot). The detail on this really is something else, right down to the silver prim crosses on the shirt cuffs:

Oh you're right...the details are incredible! Love that [Gauze] outfit! And the silver/white hair is perfect. Great series of poses. Yay all around! :)
