Well I have the Sally Bowles outfit from Cabaret, and I'm sure I can pinch a bit of cake from the hubby.

Oh....

Well, if she won't post, I guess I must. Here I'm about to be eaten by a tiger.

And the giant robot. I'm a tiny dot in a tiny sailboat below one of the hands.

/me applauds Soji. Great pics...and it's really nice to see you back in SL, too. :-)

Most definitely. I need to think about that signature color thing -- I prefer a bold blue for my dresses, but never really liked that color in lingerie.

I do like white:

Oh, me likey these. :D

Speaking of Chicago - I took these inspired pix last year, just thought I'd post them since it came up. Realized I forgot to "wear" the bowler hat tho, that sux.

Elora, these pics are marvelous! And I love the NYC (right?) setting, too. :)

*points up to the post before yours*

(Sorry if the pic stretched anyone's screen. I forgot people use the Greasemonkey script that renders an image inline. I edited to put a smaller one in.)

Well I think I'm going to get some fresh air now that I've done all the job searching I can inbetween puttering around here :p

I also got in touch with the guy who recommended me for that job last week, since I needed to make sure I could use him as a reference. I mentioned that they never got back to me, which I thought was unusual. He made a call and as it turns out the woman who I will (if all goes well) be replacing is up to her eyeballs in backlogged invoices and said she'll be in touch as soon as she catches up on the billing.

That's cool, but like I said to him, if it were me I would have at least jotted a quick email as soon as I had gotten that resume sent to me, just to let the person know it was received. Common courtesy. But, yours truly is a nice person (I just play a semi-bitch here on the Forum at times) and after being in business for over 25 years, you just learn a few things about how to respond proactively in situations. Perhaps she just hasn't learned how to manage certain things yet, who knows.

Anyway, see ya all later. First and foremost I need to buy a new "tank" for Mr. Fish. Ghosty was cleaning it last night and it developed a hairline crack in it. Right now, he's living in our Britta container. He does not look very happy; seems bored and annoyed with the lack of plant life and gravel to occupy his visual stimulation

My fingers are crossed for:
a) your job (and yeah, she shoulda emailed you) and
b) for Mr. Fish!

I'm back and going to live most likely, unless I get hit by a truck crossing the street...Though that's for another post.

The appointment went well and I am now the proud owner of the best medication in the world. And feel soooo much better already.:D I won't get into details, because people already think I am nuts. But things are looking up medically.:)
