From: Dakota Tebaldi PayPal is uncool. When you sign up for PayPal and "attach" a bank account to it, PayPal sends some 6 cents or so to your bank in a couple of different transactions, to make sure the account is active, and to make sure you're the legitimate owner of the account. In order for the attachment to be confirmed, you have to read your bank statement and note the exact amount of the money PayPal sent in each transaction, and then you go back to the paypal site and enter this information, and voila, the account is Verified! Easy, right? When I entered my bank account information and PayPal sent the confirmation payment, it took less than three minutes to hit my bank account. Yet, now that the verification process is complete and I try to transfer actual money from my PayPal account to my bank account, it takes DAYS. That's wrong, and there's obviously no reason for it, because the verification process proved money can be transferred in mere minutes. I am pouting. Cody...that's maddening!!!! I'd be going nuts. I'm sorry, buddy. /me pouts alongside Cody

Yeah, my SL boss had TP'd me earlier, asked if I got it, said no, so she tp'd again. The offer showed up in my email a bit later. But I just relogged, and when I signed on, there was a TP offer and I thought she was calling me again so I jumped on it....nobody there!

From: Treasure Ballinger Great! Well, first I visited Marcus Flatley's new store, Paradise Lost. I loved it! The plants and trees are wonderful and carefully made, very realistic. The sim is sweet with little bridges over a stream. I have some vacant land parcels for sale on my sim and wanted to 'pretty them up' some with some new plants while they are waiting to be bought. I found just what I needed there. All the items are the same price and they are copy!!! So that is one place. Marcus advertised his new store in the Forum Cartel group yesterday and I bopped over, it was well worth it. Awwwww thanks!!! Only found this posting today since it was pointed out to me . As pointed out it is Marcel Flatley indeed, and (not yet pointed out) the store's name is Paradise Found. Too many paradises were already lost in my opinion. Right after I rented the quarter sim the store is on, I got Ama in IM, and she created a cute bridge. Well, I decided to be the first customer for it, and dug some channels to put them over. The result is very nice for someone completely ignorant when it comes to landscaping Still not entirely ready though...

Warning to men
03-04-2009 10:09
(This was on the Gorean Forum. I thought it was cute.)
Police are warning all men who frequent clubs, parties & local pubs to be alert and stay cautious when offered a drink by any woman.
Many females use a date-rape-drug on the market called ' Beer' .
The drug is found in liquid form and is available anywhere. It comes in bottles, cans, or from taps and in large kegs.
Beer is used by female sexual predators at parties and bars to persuade their male victims to go home and sleep with them.
A woman needs only to get a guy to consume a few units of Beer and then simply ask him home for no-strings-attached sex.
Men are rendered helpless against this approach. After several Beers , men will often succumb to the desires to sleep with horrific looking women to whom they would never normally be attracted.
After drinking Beer , men often awaken with only hazy memories of exactly what happened to them the night before, often with just a vague feeling that 'something bad' occurred.
At other times these unfortunate men are swindled out of their life's savings, in a familiar scam known as 'a relationship'. In extreme cases, the female may even be shrewd enough to entrap the unsuspecting male into a longer-term form of servitude and punishment referred to as 'marriage'.
Men are much more susceptible to this scam after Beer is administered and sex is offered by the predatory females.
Please forward this warning to every male you know.
If you fall victim to this ' Beer' scam and the women administering it, there are male support groups where you can discuss the details of your shocking encounter with similarly victimized men.
For the support group nearest you, just look up 'Golf Courses' in the phone book.
