If I were home he would be. I'm out on babysitting duty, and Boomer is spending the evening with his brother.

Little Bruce and Jenny are only 10 years old, but they know they are in love. One day they decide that they want to get married, so Bruce goes to Jenny's father to ask him for her hand.

Bruce bravely walks up to him and says, 'Mr. Smith, me and Jenny are in love and I want to ask you for her hand in marriage.'

Thinking that this was just the cutest thing, Mr. Smith replies, 'Well Bruce, you are only 10. Where will you two live?'

Without even taking a moment to think about it, Bruce replies, 'In Jenny's room. It's bigger than mine and we can both fit there nicely.'

Still thinking this is just adorable, Mr. Smith says with a huge grin, 'Okay then how will you live? You're not old enough to get a job. You'll need to support Jenny.'

Again, Bruce instantly replies, 'Our allowance. Jenny makes five bucks a week and I make 10 bucks a week. That's about 60 bucks a month and that should do us just fine.'

Mr. Smith is impressed Bruce has put so much thought into this. 'Well Bruce, it seems like you have everything figured out. I just have one more question. What will you do if the two of you should have little ones of your own?'

Bruce just shrugs his shoulders and says, 'Well, we've been lucky so far.'

Mr. Smith no longer thinks the little shit is adorable.

LOL.. sorry about your fall. i have been there.. had knee surgery couple years ago from a running injury.. was out about 4 months total.. pain meds were a good thing...lol you take care of it and keepit iced....

/gives Spike a high five to the knee surgery!

Both knees already missing the meniscus here. The most recent injury had me off my feet completely for a full month. The recovery and then subsequent surgery/recovery were no picnic either.

Yea for pain killers indeed!

HooooEE!

I love vicodin.

Went and had my wisdom teeth pulled today.. first time I've had surgery of any type, or an IV, or general anesthetic, and so on.... and first time to have vicodin.

So, I get home, and take a vicodin before the anesthetic finishes wearing off, and had no pain, and so on... and then read the instruction, that says 'Every 4 to 6 hours'.

So, I figure I'll just wait until it starts hurting a bit, and figure that's about the right time, ya know?

Silly me, I discover that Vicodin doesn't necessarily wear off slowly.

About 5 hours later, I feel like my jaw is going to fall off >.<

So... lesson today... if you're a big guy, just assume the lowest time. God that hurt.

Vicodin ftw.

yeah.

Sorry for the ramble (Who am I kidding, this whole thread is mostly rambling)

been exactly there, Keira, when i had my wisdom teeth pulled. OUCH!

i take vicodin for my headaches, and i always wait too long. it takes twice as long for the pain to diminish if you wait until it 'starts' to hurt. yup yup it's way too late by then. glad you are feeling better and i hope you remember to take them on schedule for at least the first two days. and i hope you don't get dry sockets. that's another kind of pain entirely, and unfortunately vicodin won't touch it.

Or the nose spray. I used to use that, but the taste of it made me SO ill, I had to go back to the pills. But, it does work like a charm.

Good one 3! Reminds me of a great... or should I say "grate" song:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vUiutKkMeiA

...You imagine me sipping champagne from your boot
For a taste of your elegant pride
I may be going to hell in a bucket, babe
But at least I'm enjoying the ride, at least Ill enjoy the ride...

(Oh how I wish YouTube videos would show up in this forum so you wouldn't have to copy the link to see it.)

Last night, Jerboa and I went to the production of "Twelfth Night" at the SL Globe Theatre. Very enjoyable! :)

lol, Soji was sitting behind us, and apparently, our flailing arms were a bit of a distraction! :p

(Soji's pic)

Oddly, neither of us had our AOs working...and neither of us saw what Soji did. I have no idea what was going on. (And ha! I did not have the Forum Cartel group chat open...so I missed Soji's comments about us "waving". :o )

Good morning everyone. Twelfth Night wasn't too bad last night. It's about what you would expect of Shakespeare in SL. The Globe theater is a very nice build, they did a great job with costumes, rez-faux took care of scene changes. They attempted some staging with animations and such. The script was performed over local voice chat. And, typical of volunteer amateurs reading their lines (versus memorized), was spotty. But you can't fault them for that. Shakespeare is very hard to do!

But please...please...please...why for the love of all that is good...did the host use a chipmunk-in-a-wind-tunnel-voice-changer for the introduction!

If you have an hour to spare, it's worth the experience I think.
