I prefer this to be my motto day after day.... sadly - my boss has other notions... My boss has very little understanding of what I do (cartography/GIS) so he steers clear unless I crash a server with hundreds of gigs of ortho photography! Which I’ve been known to do |

Have they found a cure for klutziness yet do you think? I was just walking home from the store, and managed to trip over a paving stone and fall face first right on top of my shopping. Thankfully there was no glass in there, but my ice cream and the chicken got a bit squished I hate RL shopping. /me goes to unpack her squashed shopping and bathe her scratched hand. _____________________

Poor Claire! You need to be careful! If there's a cure for klutziness, pass it over here. I guarantee you're lighter on your feet than I am. Put a bandaid on and give it a kiss, then console yourself with the ice cream. It doesn't sound like a life threatening injury, so I'm sure you'll heal up just fine.

OW PAIN... I've been known to do worse things.... fall in the lake... slip on a piece of paper in the science room at school and slide all the way across the floor and have my shoe fall off....trip over my book bag and fall into a bunch of roll-around chairs....
Don't worry, when the pain is over, just laugh it off like I do. Oh... and let's not forget the time I was walking and looking at my cell phone and then I ran smack into a telephone poll... that hurt... but I pictured myself in 3rd person doing that and it was pretty funny. _____________________

A friend was tossing me a football and I was looking over my shoulder. I turned at the perfect moment to go face-first right into the pole - POW. The feeling that I was a complete idiot actually hurt worse than my chin. _____________________

It wasn't too bad. Just the shock and emarassment really. And the squished ice cream lol.
It survived though. in the freezer waiting for after tea lol. Phish food...yummm I haven't fallen like that in ages! I'm normally the one dropping pots and knocking stuff over. I guess i need to pick my feet up higher lol.
