Is there a way to send an IM or e-mail to your SL friends when not logged in (in-world)? I've checked just about every catagory in the SL web site and the forums and cannot find an option to do this.

Just wondering.

Pretty certain there is Carolyn .. I saw this exact question two or three weeks back. I'll race you to find it :)

I was looking for the same but couldn't find it. BUT I am certain that this tool will be available very soon since the code has gone open source.
