A couple questions...

Okay, I am pretty interested in a few things...

1. Halucinegenics, do you know where I can get some? This seems like it may be pretty cool in a virtual world...

2. I need $$!! I barely played right after I made my character, so it is a few moths old. All of the money trees I have seen wont let me use them!

3. What is there to do? I am NOT interesteed in any sexual content, and gambling is kind of... well... out because I dont havea ny money.

4. Where/when are there building/scripting classes?

I have seen magic mushrooms in-world. But SL works best if you take the drugs yourself.

err the virtual drugs that exist are magic mushrooms, seclimine and if you type in things like cocaine and hash into the search engine you will find some virtual equivalents.

money you purchase some on the lindex or use a money tree if you are brand new and not an alternate and at the risk of getting hung if your needing upload money for stuff that your making and have none and can't afford lindens as a last resort you can try camping chairs to get the lindens necessary to upload textures etc. I would not use camping as a staple but I know a lot of people just sitting and camping so they can upload a few textures for that new little object they are making.

What is there to do? what ever you can imagine its there to do. Socialize, roleplay build a town learn new things its a sandbox game which means you kinda make your own direction. I have yet to become borred

classes look into the events calendar on the website or ingame using the search engine there is a filter to only bring up educational stuff you can start there

you can go to academy of second learning. NCI and a fwe other places there is another one I belong to mystica that is fun for different things. There is also a plan to ad a more structured learning system soon its in the wiki target date I have forgotten but it will cover building and scripting when its done. It seems to me its in about 6 months the target date for "certification" classes. Even if you dont actually want to get the certification the classes will be a very welcome addition to SL

1) There's a drug shack in a corner store on Anarchy...and swirly trash to look at while you're tripping too. *snicker*

2) If your bank card won't work to buy currency, there's always PayPal or any of Elex's suggestions.

3) Use Search to find events which interest you and use that as a springboard. Or, look for a job and solve a couple of your problems at once.

4) The Ivory Tower of Prims, Particle Lab, and the LSL Portal to start.

So true; I guess it makes sense given that the Lindens apparently took them when they made the place.

For ctraining do a search for events> education and you can even click a notify reminder button that goes off 5min before the event too
