I'm still waiting for voice to come to my home sim to try it out....too embarrassed to talk to people anywhere else! ;)

Find a Voice Mentor…really that’s what we do. :)

Personally, I want to know why even when I disable Voice on my parcel, people will still be allowed to use Voice Chat via IM to other individuals or to groups. I don't want voice-zombies on my land, staring off into space while they chatter to friends 20 sims away, at the same time ignoring the non-voice players standing next to them. I see it as no different than a theatre owner banning the use of cell phones in their theatre.

Ummm..how will you know they’re not text IMing instead? :D

The first thing on getting a voice-supporting client will be to switch it off and/or muting incoming voice. Positional audio or not, I didn't stand that babble on TeamSpeak and don't want to in SL as well.

Those 'gesture sounds' already do their part on annoying the hell out of me, forcing me to mute sound effects altogether.... I need another layer of audible waste as much as I need diarrhoea.
