I'm not derailing when I say that Xcite commentary is stupid, am I? If you're with someone special, you should put some extra effort into being intimate with them. SL Intimate...whatever. Just clicking on a menu shows a lack of interest in the moment. I'm totally in agreement with Lindal on this one - put some effort out, use your imagination!

Really, I never use that xcite thing. I was only teasing. When someone makes love to me in sl (as in real) I love them back. I won't fake anything as important as sex in real or in sl - it is an ultimate connection. And my lover is so witty and sexy that my pleasure is not only intense but prolonged.

While I was still fairly new to SL, my SL guy got me some talking parts (not Xcite) where you could replace the scripted text with your own.

A while after we got them, I replaced half of my text with bad one-liners. And other miscellaneous irrelevancies.

For example, if he touched my ass, it might say: "Sorry, I've gone to take the dog for a walk."

I'm not a big fan of talking parts....when a guy repeatably says "click on my di*k", it kinda ruins the moment. Also some of those poseball positions make it hard to even get my mouse pointer on the weiner, I usually end up laughing trying to click on it, reminds me of the hit the gopher game at Chuck E. Cheese.

Some of the poses are just hilarious on their own.

As far as excite goes, I use it more as a flirting tool then anything else. Some people like to be able to click on you and give you a shoulder rub or spank your ass. Like many others, I laid out a lot of cash for some expensive "bits". The gadget works great (I like it better than Xcite...only one attachment covers all the erogenous zones). But, again like many others, I hardly ever use it these days. Dinalya, SLex is just like the texting you're used to, but with animations thrown in. The animations can either provide a visual supplement to what you're texting, or they can provide a new direction for you to play text riffs on.

The best SLex I ever had was with a noob who didn't even have a freebie member, and us with no more than a simple cuddle pose between us. Good lord, that man could WRITE!

(The beds, by the way, are another matter. I'm still exploring the options on mine. This thing is FUN.)

As for classes, I haven't come across one in cyber exactly...but I did write an article on the subject that got tucked into Lucrezia's Newbie Kit. I think I got so used to just text (yahoo, private messages, or out in the open in a message board lol) that it just seems like you have to take the time to be more expressive that way. I have seen the Xcite bits and assumed they had limits on how many 'expressions' they might have. Variety is gooood lol



Thats just the best to me. If someone can write and make me feel it, or very close to what they are writing, just awesome. The visual of an avi misbehaving isnt as much of a turn on as a well written expression of it.

Now that sounds like a fetish that needs to be included on those beds I had just wanted to make sure I didnt come off as a cyber pro, no such thing me thinks. 'If' I ever got to that point in SL, I would gather its more intense because of the added layers here.
