Where Do Tiny Avatars Hang Out?

I have decided to explore/expand my concept of self, both external and internal. That said, I have acquired a Tiny avatar, and want to discover what it feels like to look so different than my usual human-based avatar. Even when I am a faerie or a mermaid, I still LOOK the same. But as a Tiny unicorn, I am completely different in appearance and size. It puts things into a whole new perspective. One I am still getting used to.

So, where do the Tinies hang out? I know there is Raglan Shire, and a place in Caledon, I believe it is called Tinyville? Is that right? What other places are there that are specifically for Tinies?

I would appreciate anything people could tell me about Tiny culture and habits, as well, please! And any good shopping places with animations for quadrupeds.

I haven't used it a huge amount.
When I'm in it, I still am very much me - although I do feel an urge to be more mischievous than usual.
It freaks out my friends.
It's really difficult to go up normal stairs and steps.
As for biking.....
I did have fun flying around in my Privateer space pod. THe thing drew attention and people got a WTF moment when a tiny opened the hatch and popped out. Incongruity is one of the really nice things about SL


Yup! Inteacting with other tinies would be more rational.
But..what do tinies do? What do they talk about.?
It could be that there are as many completely different attitudes in tiny places as there are in Gor.

Raglan Shire is where you find them. I have a friend that is a grey kitteh & she loves it.

One time, a VERY tiny avatar showed up at a strip club I happened to be visiting.

All the girls gathered 'round him, because he was so small and cute and we didn't want someone to step on him and squish him.

One of my good friends in SL is a tiny. She posts in here a few times a year. I've got a few tiny LM's from trips we gone on.

Nice folks - very different.

I think Raglan is ground zero for SL's tiny community.

I wish more of them would hang out at my park. I've put playground equipment, table, chairs, and such for them. Even a tiny food court. Lol.

If any tiny wants a LM, send me a note card in-world.

And Tinys love food. I attended a Christmas program where they adapted all the standard Christmas songs into songs about waffles.

I also have a friend who is a 'Tiny on Demand', meaning sometimes she's a Tiny and sometimes not. She just bought a land parcel in Tiny territory, not sure if was Raglanshire but she is with lots of other Tinys.

I didn't know there was a Tiny land. That sounds magical.

I have fish & chips & a salad bar. Lol. I'd like to put out some breakfast foods too...If I found any more tiny food vendors.

Yep yep, start at Raglan Shire. Up to like 7 sims in that cluster now? And I was amazed to find out that there is a waiting list for tiny housing there

And what does one do with a Tinycam? I saw one in a shop, but I wasn't sure what it was used for.

Like Piictionary, but with prims. It's quite a lot of fun.

The normal Linden camera is too high for a Tiny so you either have to zoom way back or you're looking over your avatar's head. Tinycam pulls the focus of the camera down so you're looking over the shoulder like you are with a regular non-crushed avatar.

Incidentally, it's a full perm product I sell for a small fee, more or less on the "honor system". I prefer that people buy it, but don't mind if you hand it around to a few of your friends. Tinies tend to be friendly and socially progressive folks, and some of them will do that and then buy extra copies to reimburse me (and encourage further innovations). It's much more relaxing than locking things up and going ballistic when someone breaks the SL security system. Some tiny makers have licensed it for use in their own products, others have duplicated the idea themselves (it's not like it's all that complex a script).

There's a fancier product, the dock, that includes all three of my popular "honor system" scripts in one HUD... Flight Feather, Otter Monitor, and Tinycam.

A person is given (secretly) a word. He or she must then build something that lets the rest of the players figure out what the word is. The winner gets to go next.

Sounds like fun. I'd like to watch. Not sure I'd be any good at playing it, though! I joined the Raglan Shire group, and I see that they send out notices for the games. I'll have to watch for the next one and try to go!

being short has it's advantages.... for example you can fit a palace on 16*32 piece of land =)

It's a little low-lag avatar scanner. Tells you who's in chat range, how far away they are, a little bit about their state (awake, asleep, typing). It also changes colors depending on how many avatars are in chat range.
