Signature images 512 images or less, please

I admit that I have put a couple of folks on ignore only because the photos they put in their signatures are so big. I rely on someone quoting them if they have said something I want to read. If no one quotes them, and I am really curious, then I will take them off ignore momentarily, read what they wrote, and then put them back on ignore.

It is not personal... just my choice. I think everyone should do as they please with their sigs.
That's good thinking. If a person is inconsiderate enough to cause the intended width to be expanded, why take any notice of them.

I enjoy seeing the occasional vanity picture that is larger than 512 wide, but those are usually confined to threads where it is expected. It's not a big issue, if you'll excuse the pun.

/me looks at his own signature properties and breathes a sigh of relief.

I have never had sigs turned on in this forum. I read these threads to see what people have to say about the topic at hand. Sigs are not for that purpose. So I have no idea what size images people are using at all. It makes life a whole lot simpler that way.
