Broadband with download limit

It was saturday am. I downloaded the Broadband meter and today tuesday lunch time I've done 2GB ! Wow.

Yes definately I must have unlimited package.

I think my time on SL will be less than many others, but maybe I'm wrong, perhaps I'm addicted and do not know it. LOL. I do log in several times a day for short periods then log out, sort of when I have a break at home with a cup of tea and biscuit. Then a couple of hours in the evening, SL better than TV !

So will chat with ISP for a price reduction and speed increase, if I fail then stick as I am or change ISP. Changing ISP means changing e-mail address so not a favorite. ( My advice to those starting up with Internet would be use Yahoo Mail or similar to aviod this complecation.)

Just be careful some "unlimited" plans throttle your speed back to diallup after you hit a download limit, for 2 months for me. all hell broke loose trying to run SL at the 3 weeks mark when I hit the limit,I blamed the Lindens, I thought my PC was dying and it was because my ADSL was being throttled, so I updated plans to one where I pay more over a higher limit instead.
