1 point why would any 3rd party verify 1000's of users for LL for the fee of $10L? even a quick check would require a fair amount of work and nobody is going to undertake this for free without some kind of payout ....not keeping your info? I cant see it. Although its pointless debating the issue until LL are more forthcoming with more details. That blog was vague to the point of being useless

There is no way any sort of verification check on existing accounts can be done for ten linden. That means that its a token amount, and Aristotle wont be checking the people who have already verified with a creditcard or paypal to get premium. In my opinion, having thought about it, this ten linden charge for already existing premium accounts is a token to prevent a feeling of 'us and them'. I dont think they will be checking. not for linden lab... Aristotle will be using it for free, for their own purposes, a bonus from LL. Which means they WILL be keeping it and not discarding it.

One more reason i wont be giving any of my personal information to this company.

Those are all subjective qualities, but I'd like to point out the generations of literature, film, poetry, biography, and my own young experiences as evidence that it's not just today's world, or even today's standards, but the revisionist delusions of the past. Kids have been exposed to adult material and gone out of their way to acquire adult understanding and experience ever since society started juvenelizing them at puberty instead of treating them as smaller adults. Social standards are simply butting heads with biological impulses.

And yet, I still don't want my teenaged kids being "educated" by the guys hanging around the local XXX-Video shop. Guess I'm too old-fashioned, fighting nature and all.
