Hullo all, this isn't really a trade secret, so here goes. You cannot sit on an attachment. Personally, I think that would terrific if you could, but you can't at the moment. So, to ride along with a friend on an attachment horse, or to carry someone in your arms while moving, you will both be riding what essentially is an invisible vehicle. The devil is in the details, you see. For example, to make my dual rider saddles, I have to have the saddle communicate with both riders to animate them correctly, as well as talk to the horse attachment to get IT to animate and make sounds correctly, as well as tweak the vehicle parameters to properly approximate avatar/riding motion. So, if I have a few bald patches on my scalp, it is from the hair pulling adjusting all that. Of course, tomorrow, LL could turn around at let us put sit targets in attachments, which would make all that moot! But that's Second Life for one, and I would be happier than a happy clam were that to happen for it would eliminate the need to "hack" the way around with said invisible vehicle. Edit: Looks as if Maya beat me to the explanation! Love those dragons, btw, I have a friend who lets me go riding with her. Whooosh

Thank-you Maya Remblai and Virrginia Tombola! I feared that was the case. I knew that the riddable saddles involved rezing something and having one avatar sit on one poseball and the other sit on another, but I was hoping that I was remembering wrong. I guess I can always just dream then. Sorry Brann, can't let you ride my scooter with me driving. Oh and: From: Virrginia Tombola So, if I have a few bald patches on my scalp, it is from the hair . . . Reasons why I am sometimes bald: I haven't really found my hair yet, and bald patches, and trying to TP, and going to crowded sims (to, most likely, see live music; though I'd probably do the same to see dead music, but I haven't done that yet).

From: Soji Slade Thank-you Maya Remblai and Virrginia Tombola! Double, good to know all that! From: Yosef Okelly Can't tp from a script the best you can do is open a slurl or move them with in the same sim Well, mostly yes. But if you get them to sit (which, if you create the object with a default left-click action of "Sit" doesn't require volition on their part), then you can use Sittarget within the sim, or in some cases Warppos across a set of sims. And it sure would look like teleporting to the person who is just wisked away! .

A long time ago, back in 2003, sitting on attachments was possible. You could also move your cursor over an attachment and get the attachment's tooltip description. If I recall correctly, v1.1 ended this.
Back in the day, while hanging out in Ahern, someone "snuck" in using an early invisiprim. I was able to see who it was using the cursor, and just to mess with them, I sat on the prim. There I was, seated, and moving along with the invisiprim, right up until the av teleported away.
