She could already be playing SL if she just lied about her age and came in as an unvcerified adult! But because she's trying to be honest, and because she doesn't want to be on the adult grid, her name is in limbo and there's no way for her to get support.

Hmm i don't see it being so difficult to dig them out. Were in the 21st century why not just use machines to dig them out? I know dynamite is out of the question because theres people in there...

its not that easy. the same thing happened in tasmania last year, and it took quite a while to ssslllooooowly go in and get them out.

If they admitted their Age Status to you (in Chat OR IM), and you REALLY don't want minors in the Adult grid, Report them IMMEDIATELY, their accounts will be suspended pending age verification. I KNOW that the suspensions will happen because every Minor I have reported in the same fashion has been gone the same day.

If you would rather just complain about it (By far More labour Intensive), Post in the Forums. Nothing will actually get done about it, and the minors will still be sneaking about in Adult establishments, but at least you can Fool yourself into beleiving that you actually are concerned and did something about it.

If you REALLY Care about Keeping Minors Out of the Adult grid and away from Age Inapropriate materials, then work WITH the Lindens and DO something about it.

As a professional in the industry, I can honestly answer this one. The mine caved because it had been improperly designed in the first place; it had numerous safety problems and fines levied against it by the government's safety inspectors. Because the mine has caved due to improper planning and strata control, to dig without knowing that the men are even alive would be foolhardy and would endanger the lives of the rescuers. The actual collapse of the area that they were in has affected the entire surrounding geological structure, making the previously known faults and strata now unknown.

Too, coal is associated with methane. In an underground coal mine, especially, methane is a serious issue. Methane is not only bad for the ozone, etc, but it is extremely flammable. In an enclosed environment, even one spark from a machine (like unregulated or unapproved manual drills or diggers) can set off a collosal explosion that none would survive. Any machines used to dig out the miners MUST be approved for working in methane environments, and such manual equipment is not often found at modern coal mines. Modern underground coal mines use HUGE machines that would most likely crush the survivors.

And third, they don't "just dig them out" because they might as well find out if the trapped miners are even alive. So far, it doesn't look hopeful.

I do not care what your excuse is - you need to keep an eye on your kids, learn how to properly restrict their access to the internet sites and programs you do not want them to see or use, you need to be a lot more active in their lives and raise them properly.

You need to stop looking for anything to blame when something bad happens. You kid go crazy? Guess what? It's not the video games, it's not the TV, it's not the computer or the internet: It's YOU!

You are the only one who should take the blame, YOU are the one that should be raising your kids.
