While waiting on SL to reopen?

I'm getting house work done, some modeling to check out obj2sculpty, rendering textures, filtering animations, and sorting folders. Surfing for an actual beginners guide to prim modeling in SL, as well as looking for real info in the sub forums; not an easy task. And searching for a jacket uvmap; I know a jacket is shirt plus part of the pants, but what part?
Ya, it always takes several things to occupy my mind.
I know SL wont be up till this after noon, but that's when I go to work.

Doing real life stuff or if free I am visiting Forums, thinking about learning new things or doing new designs in my art programs, Sleeping is ussually what I do on SL's downtimes. Often I don't log in on Wednesdays or Thurdays because its nightmare those two days.

crossing my fingers that nothing gets lost or damaged while the update occurs.

Also doing housework, making phone calls and trying to stay cool. We're having a heat wave here and it's about 95 F here today. The beach is calling my name!

Did about 2 weeks worth of work (RL work at home jobs), been messing around with photoshop, working with a 3D Architect program to plot my first house build, reading couple roleplaying books for a new character in an RP sim in SL, talking to friends on IM's, and listening to music.

Actually dinner, Brenda. And you didn't ruin it, I just had to clean up the bits I spit out. :D

And that's what I'm doing....cleaning. Brenda's fault......;)

I'm plucking my eyebrows.
Working on textures to upload, if it lets me, hehe.
Learning Blender so I can play with Sculpted Prims.
And apparently trying to feed my SL addiction by reading the forums. =)

Now im jealous of the person who lives near a Beach!

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

"Blender" I'd rather shoot myself in the foot then try to do anything with that completely alien interface. If you decide to go to a different modeling program you will be in trouble, blender is way out in left field when it comes to standard modeling programs. Wings3d is a much better choice if you are just learning. ;) ; been there, tried them all, bought Hex2.

Cleaning the bathroom floor. Well that's the idea, but ... meh ... it's been that dirty for weeks so maybe it will keep ...

Cooking spaghetti with a tomato, mascarpone and black olive sauce ...

Will I do housework? The intention is there and I'll be glad I did come Saturday, but today at work was just so tiring ...

(Prediction: Sits in front of PC with spaghetti :) )

I am sitting in the corner of my room stairing at my computer screen waiting for that red, disgusting, sickening word" OFFLINE" to read that delightfully springtime thoughts of fluffy bunny rabbits skipping through a daisy filled meadow word "ONLINE".

I dare not look away incase it comes online for just a brief moment to allow the "Special" people on.
The chosen few who run around our blessed lands skipping and dancing knowing we are out in the cold. They look at our things and play cards with our money. Laugh at our silly snapshots, and play with our toys.

I am shaking, trembling at the thought of another minute without SL. My eyes are red and wide. My skin puffy and pale. I need my fix.
A slow infusion of buying and selling. An intovenus drip of shopping and chatting.

But no I sit here with my invisable friends dancing around my head laughing at my withdrawal. OH the cruelty of it all.

Heck I will do anything to avoid mowing the lawn......LOL

At the moment I am reading my chat logs and counting all the broadly offensive things I have done in the past month.

All I get is a frozen pizza...

And I've actually been thinking about quitting SL, so I'm just reading books.

I heard about one that's supposed to be pretty decent, Snow Something or Other. I can't remember where I heard about it though......

=P Well, yeah.

But I've been craving my Grandma's cooking for a while now. (She's been gone for a few days, and she lives with us. So it's just me and my Dad right now).
