I'm a newbie, and maybe this is out there and someone can point me in the right direction.............. Do they make something to be attached to my Avatar that stops me from always having the view of my backside when walking???? I rode a horse today and it was so annoying to be walking and seeing not only my backside by the horses as well. I wanted to see the horse walking, but could not do that from the angle...............

You can change your default camera position to see yourself from the front using the Client / Debug Settings menu, but it is a pain. The method is described in /327/9a/140518/1.html#post1298524You can do a lot of stuff with the manual camera controls, but changing the default camera position and focal point is not one of them. There are camera controls available to scripts that can change your default camera positi on and focal points while you are using the script but I don't believe they will let you look at yourself from the front. From the side or from above looking down, yes, but not from in front.

I watched a great video from Second life Tips and tricks at Youtube. And they make follow cam that you attach to your back. It allows you to see different views, keep the screen still if you want, see from above....lots of options.
I'm not sure how to find flollow cam once i'm inside.....if anyone knows how, that would be great. Its time for a search PRODUCTS!!!!

Great video about the camera controls can be found here: http://naturalselectionstudios.com/?page_id=128(Not sure if it is the same as the mentioned youtube video, but it can be downloaded in a higher resolution from the above website)

It seems to me that Aislinn Jewell wasn't confused about how to control the camera, but how to get the camera to "stick" in another viewing position while you do things, like walk around. If you use the regular camera controls, the moment you move your AV, the camera jumps back to the default "from-behind" view. Most 3D shooter games will keep the camera view where you leave it and not revert back to default position. This makes it a bit confusing for new SLers, as it did for me.
Anyway, good to know that there are attachable "follow cams", I'll have to track one done myself.
