Is there a way to not see scripts from adjacent land?

I have a mainland parcel in a beautiful area and wonderful neighbors. However, one of my neighbors just put in a weather system and it is now snowing partially on my land. With the weather getting cold in RL the last thing I want is snow in my tropical paradise. Is there anyway for me to not see his snow?

Go to view...then Beacons...then Hide Particles. That should do the trick.

Keep in mind though that this will hide all particles, including ones you may be using, such as bling.

Also, you might ask your neighbor politely if it can be dampened down a bit. The range on it might be too much and the drift caused.. But as Joseph said, you can turn it off via the client and not see any particles. This is a feature that gets used a lot on my end, because my computer hates bling more than I do;)

You can try using invisiprims to block out particles. It also works any texture that is shiny, alpha or transparent.

Do you speak to your neighbors? Ignore the owners of the objects and the particles will disappear!
