Oh no! It's a New Update and All the Residents are Broken!!!

It's really getting on my nerves how LL puts out these updates and then none of the residents work! Is anyone else having problems? I get the following...

-Multiple threads on the forums of people complaining about how badly SL works in ways I don't personally have problems with

-Multiple residents becoming afraid of new features or any sort of change in SL or the world in general

-Multiple landbots and searchbots with bad first names

LL needs to get their act together and make sure all the residents work properly before doing these updates!! If they don't, they run the risk of instantly becoming bankrupt, audited by the IRS and banned from travel to Germany. This will result in the homelessness of every LL employee...and I'm afraid I don't have enough change to hand out for everybody!!

So there's no problem if it does not affect you personally. How do you profess to be a world changer with that kind of attitude? Or are you only interested in changing the world for your own benefit?

No, there's no point in going to a forum that we KNOW LL doesn't go to for accurate problem reporting (or much of else these days) other than making a public spectacle for others to react to.

LL took away the general forum, so now this is the only place people can go when they have concerns about why SL is not working or to vent after they have been ripped off.

I will give you 1000 points as soon as you stop defending Landbaron Merlin.

I've never defended landbots. I just don't buy into the "I'm a helpless victim and LL is letting it happen" routine everyone gets into.

Landbots are a result of the freedom SL has...just like how the law defends the rights of Larry Flynt and Rush Limbaugh equally despite being offensive to many.

If they decided all "bots" were illegal you'd hear a ton of complaining going the other direction with just as many people unhappy as the ones that spend their time crying on the forums here.

I think if people put all the energy they have towards creativity and being positive instead of crying and whining at every little problem then SL would be a lot better off.

Merlin is not offensive. He takes land that was not meant for him and makes thousands in profit at the expense of others. And, as it's been pointed out many times here, the only thing worse than the whiners are those that whine about them.

So how is that not offensive? You seem to take offense to it.

As I've said before, simply paying attention to what you're doing while setting your land for sale will take care of that.

It's no different than eBay snipers.

Ok I agree with you, Landbaron Merlin is offensive. But I want to go on record as saying I have no issues with Larry Flynt. Anyone who shows me bewbies is ok in my book.

Your continued argument that people should know better when setting land is a thin one, since many don't know they need to be careful or that bots even exist. They will have to learn the hard way since they don't come to this forum until after they get burned.

Post and VOTE for issues and BUGS in JIRA! LL doesn't come to the forums to figure out what to fix.. if LL reads the forum, it's to take a quick look at what we're all bitching about, i.e. sheepbot, age verification, etc. Hopefully, anyway.
