I am DEFINITELY coming back as a man... when I die.. .I have it all fixed... I am missing the Cow stage (I believe that according to Buddhists, I need to be a cow first, but I am passing on that)

I want be be a Man because

I want a wife... someone to do my washing, ironing, cooking, bearing of children, organise my social calendar, clean my house, remember all the family birthdays, while I go and continue my chosen career without a break or to worry about childcare.

I want to be bigger, stronger, taller, more muscled, to walk down a street on a dark night and not be concerned about the guy behind me, at least not so much.

Not to have to wear a bra or high heels

I am going to be one happy sonofabitch :)

That'd be great, but I'd feel guilty unless I was paying her well. Just think of all that guilt married men must carry ... poor things!

Except that as a mother of a big, strapping teenage boy I know he's more likely to be a victim of violent street crime than the rest of my family. Walk tall and stride confidently. The more of us out there, the safer it is for all of us :)

pssst ... you don't have to! OK, well I have started wearing a bra in recent years, just when I go out, so the kids don't disown me :D

Men have better pockets, and more of them, but on the other hand they have to wee out of their sex organs.

A moustache might be fun though, and I'd love to know what it feels like to have all that testosterone surging around. There are days I could do with a bit of "arrrgghh".

What? Come back as a man and have to spit in public and wear those baseball caps with the bill on the wrong side? (Where do they find those, anyway?) And have to call women all sorts of coarse names to assure yourself of your masculinity? And can't tell people you love them, but instead are forced into a few inarticulate grunts?

And have to watch the Surperbowl?!

Not me! I'm coming back as a dog.

You should try finding a wife who can :

Actually ask a guy out
Fix the fence
Replace the family cars wheel bearings
Dig holes for their own garden pond
Change light globes
Put the rubbish out
Put the toilet lid down after use
Paint the guttering
Cut down a tree
Mow the lawn
Build a new back deck
Lay pavers
Carry a gearbox
Change a flat tyre
Reverse a box trailer
Enjoy sex and try new stuff
Play Dungeons & Dragons

I didn't think men did the guilt thing... not in my experience..

A female coming back as a male? The shock of actually thinking rationally would probably render her speechless.

Pep (is very comfortable with the superiority of his gender, and amused at the continuous failures of attempts of women to even approach equality.)

Guilt? It's voluntary slavery.

Pep (has never heard of a woman being forced to get married in his culture.)

I guess that's why in the UK we have the Forced Marriage (Civil Protection) Act 2007

Imogen (unless you don't include yourself in UK culture, which wouldn't surprise me)
