Now smell my armpits!

1.9.1 is looking wonderful!!. I like the new shading and slight specular effect too!.

I don't know if this was deliberate, but the 'Physical', 'Temp on Rez' and 'Phantom' tick boxes are disabled on multi primmed objects.

I think it's just something that they overlooked. Otherwise it would be impossible to enable physics on an object. Unlinking and enabling physics on every single prim and then linking them back together isn't possible. If you enable physics on prim A and then went to enable physics on prim B, then prim A would drop to the ground.

Or maybe this is a new job opportunity that Vasudha Linden is trying to bring in. We have to employ people to hold our prims in place while we enable physics on them all.

Also Eep, I'm sure they're already aware of all the bugs you've reported so far. Philip probably didn't want to whip the programmers into fixing the bugs, so he asked them to release the preview so that you could whip them for him.

Now get cracking!!

If it means I get to go to LL (not that far away from me), coolio. :D

Anyway, all the bugs I've reported aren't on the known issues list, oddly. Would be nice to have an updated list though since Steve Linden said the torus hole size is already known!

I believe I'm partly responsible for this, I did mention.... oh last week, that we don't care about the state of the client we just want to see it. Well...
< spreads his hands out and shrugs, then gestures towards the client >

I can definantly say the lighting looks fantastic and really doesn't seem like that big of a performance hit on my computer. But the client as a whole needs work still. A lot of work. Keep up the bugging, Eep!

Yes everyone needs to remember this is a preview and its pretty much guaranteed to be buggy, The known issues list has to be manually compiled and is always compiled before the latest client is built so any bugs to show up in that build wont be on the list, ie the linked set of prims cant be turned physical/phantom/temp, and while this is known issue for the team as it was found during earlier testing it didnt make it to the list because the client had already been built.

Well regardless of bugs, it's great to be able to see the progress on 1.9.1.

Thanks for opening the grid up folks!.

Indeed, I'm happy to see the progress and actively be able to track its development. I, personally, don't care that the client is buggy. It's as good as alpha to me, being in the preview grid. Keep up the good work over there.
