Do you know how unbelievable annoying that is?? Why the hell can't at least phantom, physical, and material parameters be changed on multiple prims?
And why can't SL just let ALL selected prim parameters change anyway? If I want to make ALL selected cube prims 10m y-axis thick I should be allowed to.
Grrr!

bug: can't change multiple selected prim parameters
04-16-2006 18:11
Steps: Create 2 prims and select them. Observed: On the "Object" tab, "Physical", "Temporary", and "Phantom" are greyed out. Expected: Multiple selected prim parameters should be changeable. If prims have different parameters they should indicate (with semi-disabled-LOOKING controls--checkboxes, edit fields, pull-down menus, etc) that not all selected prims have the same parameters and that any change will affect them all. Having to group objects just to change them all to physical, temporary, and/or phantom is just stupid. Incidentally, only "locked" is togglable on multiple selected prims. And changing position, size, or rotation only results in the LAST selected prim being changed. Also, other tabs (particularly "Texture" allow multiple selected prims to be changed at once. This is inconsistent. All selected prims (grouped or not) should allow FULL changes.

Sounds good to me.
I enjoy your bug reports. Concise. Coherent.
