Please please please please please don't hurt me forum people. Eep is right. Flex objects hurt a lot.

I'm still going to stand by my "if used responsibly" comment though.

I dunno, I have a real modest machine and I have been into two versions of preview now with floppy prims all over and never noticed any performance hit at all. Zero hit from even large numbers of floppy prims.

The only performance hit (sans the bugs) is vertex shading which always was a performance hit anyway. Yet another tempest in a teacup if you ask me.

What was/is your lighting set at? If not at least "all local lights" you won't experience the lag with many flex prims and lights as I describe above...
