It is a pleasure to be here amongst you.

A decade ago, never in my wildest daydreams would I have imagined that I'd be part of an online community like this.

And I've got news! Let's make this an easy overview. First up, today, PHASE I ResMods were rotated out of the pool:
Adam Zaius
Cybin Monde
Damien Fate
Launa Fauna

They're totally welcome to return if they'd like in a couple of weeks, and I am expressing many thanxies for their help on the SL Forums! *looks at wandering Cybin*

We have our current PHASE II ResMods, still going strong at it! It's been enthralling for me to see the growth as well to see the discussion that's come up in actual forum situations. This is not a test, this is da real deal!
Elle Pollack
Euterpe Roo
Jana Fleming
Millie Thompson
Steve Steed
Strife Onizuka

And now--just 'cuz I'm such a fan of generational experiences being passed on--please give a big hand for our PHASE III ResMods, who've joined us today. They will spend a week "learning the ropes", so to speak, and then become active ResMods with their tools on, helping lost threads find homes like pets and encouraging happiness here!
Christopher Omega
Maeve Morgan
Seldon Metropolitan
Zapoteth Zaius

A warm welcome to our new ResMods, and a gracious thank you from me to all ResMods: past, present, and future.

I've already seen many great ideas come up in the ResMod support forum and am looking forward to many more as we continue to grow the SL Forum community for all Resis. After all, what do we all have in common? SECOND LIFE! :)

As long as their advice is consistent with the forum Guidelines and Community Standards and makes me smile--which I'm confident it will--it's all good!

BTW, the ResMod support forum I refer to is:
ResMod Community Space
Linden Lab has provided a ResMod community discussion sub-forum, accessible by all ResMods, which includes the “Linden Review” forum. This forum is being provided as a space for discussion about moderation and interaction among the ResMods. It will also serve as a location where a general moderation knowledge base may be cultivated for both current and future ResMods. Please note you will only have access to these forums while you are an active ResMod.
From the ResMod manual.

Oh :) well I still think you all need to rethink the resmod program..tear it down, rebuild it with the entire communities input..

Considering the majority fo forum goers want it gone..

Certainly we wanna get more feedback, and let this forum bustle! If you had a plan, Jonas, how would you detail it out? Infact, if you have a better idea for rebuilding ResMods, pleasel lay out all the goodies and start a new thread about it! Then I can get a better idea about what you mean.

Well how about (if we -have- to have resmods..whcih I will compromise on) letting the forumgoers poll.. one vote per person, on indivudual capacities resmods can have.

If the majority of forumgoers thing resmods should eb able to move threads, then you use that function. Same for editting, non-ignore and other such issues..

basically get a resmod program the majority fo the forum goers agreed upon.

welcome to the new ResMods and may your journey be an informative and positive experience for both you and the community at large. :)

Jonas, i was wondering.. what would your thoughts on the ResMods would be if they didn't receive ARs? i know this is a major point of contention for you and was thinking if this were adjusted, what would the positives v. negatives be for both the community and the ResMods.

If they only moved threads I think I could live with it Cybin. Life is compromise..and I would trade off moving threads for total AR confidentiality.

Res mods don't know where an AR comes from. They are completely anonymous.

^ That is correct. The name of the reporter is not shown--simply the post and thread in question and the reason why.

Easy - you don't.

See as you notice how long ago that was posted ... the 'two week turnaround'... some , such as Cybin - never swapped out.. that whole thing was one very long, and very sad joke.

The farming off of some LL work -- and a mouthfull of bullshit to keep us placated.

which is tripe! the ones reviewin the post should know WHO sent it inorder to detect wheter a person is being harrased via official channels but nvm that more importantly when users are LRed do the reviewers know who sent them.

ya want it to bustle ditch those tardy nettiqutte rules. let's have a lil flame war! liven up the dump. anyone wanna keep readin the pukey posts about the same sterile tardy crap over and over. Let's let the forums mirror sl itself, an open free space...or at least create an open "enter at your own risk section" where anything goes! or an unregulated area. OR DITCH THE RESIDENT MODS ALL TOGETHER. would make for an all together more interestin place!. and if you DO NOT. how can behavior in the forums (or more to the point MISBEHAVIOR) be punished in world when the two are regulated in a dissimilar manner! MOST NOT FAIR!

For the first time in my life, I agree with Jumpy.
