its not your sl rez date, its your premium date. and all of this is nothing more than a db bridge. its the same thing they do when they merge vb with postnuke or mambo or coppermine. 16yo kids do it everyday on sourceforge, theres no reason ll cant update thier vb and make whatever changes to the bridge may need to be done (likely very little). From: Isablan Neva Actually there are. The forums exist inside the parts of the SL website only accessible to residents. When you log into the resident only areas, you are automatically logged into the forums (assuming you have access), which also leads you to account information. You join date listed here on the forums corresponds to your join date in SL - not the date you first checked out the forums. Your forum ID is your SL account name, you cannot create an account here that isn't also an SL resident, nor can you change your name. Changing your password changes it for forums, account info, website access - everything. If you want to log in on your alt account, you have to completely sign out and sign in under that name. It all works in tandem; the forums aren't a stand-alone application like they are in most places. If it was all separate, you would be able to create an account that didn't correspond to an SL account. You would have to log in to the forums separately from the rest of the SL website.

Some are in favor of axing the forums, others think limping along is what we should do. As to how big the factions are I cannot say. I was chatting with Iridium and she is willing to entertain the idea of new ResMods. I'd be able to go on vacations.
