Strife closed a thread about what happens to land that's apparently been abandoned by lifetime owners. He said it was a personal dispute, which is a mischaracterization. Yes, the person who first posted talked a problem he or she was having, but this is an issue that's affecting more and more people. I know of someone else who is having a dispute involving "abandoned" land, squatters rights and the like. It's a real issue that deserves real conversation.

Absolutely it deserves discussion. That discussion does not need the use of names. If the discussion did not have names posted, it would not have fallen under the Private Discussion guideline.

On a side note, I am not sure if it is an appropriate discussion for the Resident Answers forum.
