I am not sure the best way to describe this issue, since I am not sure how the program SHOULD work.
I am able to log into the software, it asks me about audio streams (I have tried both yes and no), then it tells me that the character will not move right away. Finally, the world appears, but nothing works. In fact, it crashes my system to the point that I have to do a hard reboot. Not even CTL+ALT+BKSP works.
Any ideas of where to start looking for the issue?
Info:
RHEL4 based system
Kernel Version: 2.6.9-42.0.3.ELsmp
ThinkPad T60p with ATI Prop. drivers. (Yes, working. No Mesa)

Same Issue.

I have the same issue, but it appears to be specific to the fglrx drivers. SL will start up with the open source radeon drivers. (at a lame framerate)
