Preview: The perfect man..

The reason there have been less clothes lately is because i've been deticating so much photoshop time to the 'Fetish Skins for Men'!

These are *VERY* detailed, "subtle realism" skins.
That means their realistic looking, but adapted to SL. Optimized to look good on your AV.

I think the preview says it all as far as how they look, I didn't modify the skins so that you can see how well they look *IN-WORLD*.

Thei'll come in 6 skin tones, an array of facial hair options, (IM me if you want brown or red beard/mustach cos as far as I know everyone would be good with black facial hair, but maybe i'm wrong)

& as for body hair, there isn't realy any. BUT! I did do pubic hair & a "happytrail" cos that's just sexy!

Again, If you want body hair IM me, If I get enough requests it'll be available.

ALSO! There will also be men make-up for the gothic types!
Cos I know I like my guy looking like he's in mental pain.

Skin looks REALLY good on Giddeon.

I think there IS a tendency for many of the skin makers to overdo the shading the underpart of the pecs. The only time I've seen that much shadow on a man's pec is when he's on steroids and doing body building. (This is called Constructive Criticism - take note Ultimate Warrior - you don't have to be an asshole.)

All in all, it's a nice skin. I may get one for my man.

My suggestion about hair:

HEAD HAIR!! I have Launa's and that's what she did and I've never seen a guy AV look that hot in my life. SL hair is simply terrible and I do not like the prim hair available for guys in SL. So hair on the head makes it look like it's ultra-short cut, wich I adore.

For the rest, it's perfect!!!!!! *thumbs up*

I do love the skin, it is very well done - I'd like to see it in Goth!

I do agree though on the pecs, they do look too rounded and feminine for my taste on a male, even on the pics of Giddeon Charming. No, I do not make skins, just offering my impression.

On the other hand though, the 'perfect male' for bi would be lovely cuddly 'pecs' and a 'HeHe'

Mmmm happy trail.. (I had to chime in with Willow on that). The skin looks great from what I can tell Cani! I agree about hair on the head by the way. I have a hair layer on my skin because of all the prim hair using bald bases now. It's much nicer to just have a very short cut than to be bald when your hair hasn't loaded yet . I love really short hair on guys too and Launa created that look well. Just a suggestion for Cani or anyone else that makes skins .

I really really like the overall look of this skin. But my first thought on seeing the ad picture was, "Hmmmm, there is something just not right with the pecs."

My first gut reaction was "squashed tits" - man, am I crude in my head at 2:30am. Apon coming here and looking at the other pictures of the skin I revised my initial thought. The other pictures made it look better, but not quite right. I think it is the heavy shadowing under the pecs, coupled with maybe a too abrupt change between the shadow and the lighter texture. Increase the transition zone, and maybe lighten up the shadow a tad and you will surely have a buyer.

Please do not take this the wrong way. I didn't see /anything/ else to complain about. But the pecs are just enough for me to have to debate with myself about purchasing it or not.

Let me know if you revise - I would love another look!

hey canimal, nice work. if you're interested in feedback, i have to say that my first reaction to the preview pic was that the shadowing under the pecs was too strong. I liked the look better in gideon's picture, possibly because he's got a beefier avatar. So yeah, for us skinny guys I might say we'd need the shadowing toned down (the shadowing just under the middle of the pecs and running to center and slightly up the middle), but all in all I want to say nice work as usual!

oh yeah, and i want to second torrid's comment on a layer of short hair. It's especially useful when i put on a hat that makes me remove my prim hair.

OK! I've toned down the man-boobs & when the skin will be released it'll be all man!

nuther thing to keep in mind, this from my son the artist, is that when a man is that beefy, his nipples drop...he says the nipples are too high.

Ooh, I found the comments thread!

Cani, the skins look great. Forseti's comment sums up the shading of the pecs thing. Glad to hear you tweaked it.

And adding a nice soft layer of hair on the head is great too. If you do decide to add a hair layer, I'd suggest keeping it a light to med brown, because if it's too black it'll stand out when some wear wigs in lighter colours like blonde or white. Light to med brown'll make it "universally" compatible to the prim hair out there, even making it slightly transparent might work too.

If you add make-up options, I'd like to see a light smoky eye look aside from the goth ones. Not too heavy but enough to cover the gaps between the eyelashes and the inner eye. It always bugged me to see eyeball, fleshy gap, then eyelashes. And for other "makeup" 5 o'clock shadows, eyebrow varieties (scars?). Up to you, girly, go wild with it.

The details on stomach and back looks great. I love the Fetish skin for the females becuz the definition of the breasts and spine is distinct but still subtle enough to look natural. I think you accomplished that effect for this male version as well.
