Elizabeth town is a bit of a drive for most of us - 2 hours for me, and I'm already at the north end of things. If it were a weekend instead of a Thursday night, I'd probably be up for it, but I'm afraid after a full day of work that would be a bit draining. The celtic music option sounds GREAT too - we'll have to do this some time!
On the other hand, Fado is one of my favorite pubs in the Philadelphia area - I used to work right up the block at the bank on the corner of 16th & Locust. So if we were to say Thursday, December 22nd, 7pm at Fado's - who would be in?
I think you can count on Jennyfur and I - and hopefully we can drag Zippity along even though he'll just be arriving from San Fran!

I've seen kids in there during the day time, but its still definitely more bar than family restaurant - I'd agree with ya on that! I'll get down to Fado around 7pm with Jennyfur. Need More Members for PA Group!

Well, I prolly won't make this one, but here's something I need to mention to y'all:
We have only 13 members in this group right now. If we can get the number up to 20, we can get our own forum. When we did that with my Buddhist group, membership and activity took off! People apparently look at the forum names more than the group names. Can any of you get more members for our PA group? I'll also post a mention somewhere on one of the main boards. Thanks! OKAY! TONIGHT! I'll be at Fado at 15th and Locust at 6:30.
Directions from points south: Take 95N to the Philadelphia area, and get off at 676W (the Vine Street Expressway). This will take you into center city. Exit at BROAD STREET / CENTRAL PHILADELPHIA, and turn left on 15th STREET. Drive down 15th. If you pass 15th and Locust (FADO is on the corner), there is a small street right after Locust called LATIMER.
