Artillo, missed Musikfest this year, but it's an event I try to get to every year. How was Alice in Chains? See any other big acts? We had good weather for it this year. Usually it's insanely hot.

Oh, yeah. I hail from Philly originally and now living in Montgomery County.

Artillo, missed Musikfest this year, but it's an event I try to get to every year. How was Alice in Chains? See any other big acts? We had good weather for it this year. Usually it's insanely hot.

Oh, yeah. I hail from Philly originally and now living in Montgomery County.

Alice in Chains was AMAZING! And I was already super-excited to see them cuz I never thought I'd ever see them again since the passing of Layne Staley in 2002. They had some Emo-like band opening for them called Modern Day Zero which I caught a little bit of (Emo's not my thang), but I was waiting in line for 25 minutes to get my shirt, so I missed most of their set LOL! Otherwise, the fill-in lead singer they had, William DuVall http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_DuVall, was really good. The weather was perfect. Nice cool breeze after the sun went down. Their best song of the night in my opinion was Them Bones.

I wish I could have seen LL Cool J, Train, Styx & Kansas, or Heart later in the week, but unfortunately I have a day job

It was PACKED though, wow I can't believe how many people there were!

Heh, sorry you had to be here on this day. Seems like it's taking F-o-r-e-v-e-r to get the grid up & running again. It usually doesnt take this long, sometimes just an hour or two after an update for the Lindens to get things smoothed out.
