Well, that was good fun

Of course what you're SUPPOSED to do is go around saying "Ah, so THATS what you look like in real life!". But because, for the most part, I hadn't actually met anyone at yesterday's event in SL, I now find myself looking at people's SL profiles and saying "Ah, so THATS what you look like in SL!"

Good to see such an excellent turn-out though, and fascinating to hear about all the stuff thats going on. Thanks to Fizik and his crew for organising it too. Highly enjoyable.

How many people came?
Who were the special guests?
Who was expected and didn't come?
Who came but wasn't expected?
Who got drunk (unless it was nearly all of you, in which case, who didn't?)
Were the Dim sum as delicious as billed?

Where are the pictures?

Heh, I hammered the Murphy's Stout all evening and, surprisingly for me, didn't have much of a hangover. Didn't meet anyone I actually know in SL but it was interesting to meet and chat with other players about SL & RL stuff. Nice bar, nice piano, nice people. See you there next time.

Fally and I just got back home a little while ago. Man! That was an excellent party!!!
It was great to meet all of you that came along, and I know my friends list will be expanding a fair bit as I catch up with you all in-world

we'll get our photos off the camera later, as we're pretty pooped after such an awsome weekend.

Big BIG thanks to fizik & Geordie and their crew for organising it, and paying for the drinks!
The food was awsome - thanks Geordie, for stealing dim-sums from the next table for me when ours ran out!

Oh, and thanks to Bub and Hiro for helping a legless Eddie get back to his hotel room in the small hours of the morning!

You guys rock!

We had a fantastic time! I'm so looking forward to the next one already!

The Dimsum was very tasty too.

Many thanks to all those involved organising this and it was great to see so many people had travelled a long way to get to it.

I hope another meeting like this is planned for the near future.
