Yep, I'm in Chicago. Edgewater between the Bryn Mawr and Thorndale red line stops. Know why it's always "cooler by the lake" in Chicago? because I'm two blocks from it.

Yep, I'm in Chicago. Edgewater between the Bryn Mawr and Thorndale red line stops. Know why it's always "cooler by the lake" in Chicago? because I'm two blocks from it. omg used to live near there, and there was this kick butt deli, that served the best cornedbeef sammiches and this melt in your mouth cheesecake, just off the thorndale stop on the el. _____________________
There's, uh, probably a lot of things you didn't know about lindens. Another, another interesting, uh, lindenism, uh, there are only three jobs available to a linden. The first is making shoes at night while, you know, while the old cobbler sleeps. You can bake cookies in a tree. But the third job, some call it, uh, "the show" or "the big dance," it's the profession that every linden aspires to.

Well, up until 2 months ago, I lived in North 'burbs (Des Plaines, then Wheeling).
Now, I've become a Kenoshi-ite, so still within a 50-mile readius. |

I'm not from Chicago, I'm from England, but I was there 2 weeks ago for a vacation. You guys have an awesome city. Everyone we met made us feel really welcome. One of the friendliest places I've ever been. Loved it and will be back again some time for sure!!!
