From: Arin Enfield i, for one, am interested in scripting but am not a rich man i will be eager to see if these classes are affordable for those of us "lower income" SLers. There are free basic scripting classes available. Probably not as in-depth as the ones mentioned in this thread though. Out of respect for the thread starter I won't promote anything publicly that may be considered "competition", so shoot me an IM in-game and I'll offer whatever help I can in finding these classes for you. To stay sort of on topic... I think the scripting 101 is sorely needed, whether it's free or you have to pay, someone needs to start doing it because there are so many people interested in learning. I'd do it... but I'd have to attend it first. lol

I don't think of it as competition. I think of it as fostering education. We should create a consortium of educational facilities with free exchange programs between them. Withnail Academy will hereby provide free training to anyone enrolled in any other accredited* institution. * Accredited being at the sole discretion of Headmaster William Withnail. It's generally interpreted as: there's a group having any of the terms "school, academy, university, or college" in the title, and having more than 3 members.

The group I'm part of is TeaZers University. Hosting classes on TeaZer Isle. The exchange programs sound like a good idea. By no means am I the spokesperson or head honcho for TU so I'll leave it at "that sounds like a good idea" lol. I just fully support the education of other SL residents, so I keep an eye on this part of the forums.

From: Hank Ramos ...from Luskwood, and I wouldn't be a bit suprised if that person tried to get me kicked from Second Life itself! erm. You have never been banned/kicked or otherwise from Luskwood, nor do we ban/kick/make angry faces at anyone due to someone else's "suggestion". No matter how 'connected' said person is.
