EVA Project On the Web
05-21-2005 23:16
The EVA Project is a cutting-edge research consortium devoted to the development of an incredible new technology called the Extended Virtual Agent.
This groundbreaking advancement in the virtual sciences will extend the human existential phenomena into the metaverse by means of SecondLife's "collective mind conduit". Our sponsor is currently accepting applications for researchers: This is an exciting opportunity for you to involve yourself in this revolutionary development in humanism - and avatarism! Researchers and candidates will be unpaid, but will be furnished with all necessary materials and support free-of-charge. Advanced candidates may even qualify for special assignments and incentive programs! Please visit the EVA Project Website for more information. You can also contact me directly in-world, by IM. JEOPARDY GAME in SECOND LIFE

JEOPARDY GAME in SECOND LIFE
For anybody interested in more information, and screenshots, I would like to refer to : http://Atheon.NL/Jeopardy http://www.tinypirate.com/wiki/tiki...p?page=Jeopardy -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (text from Thread /165/da/49590/1.html) Arjan Templar has created a game for Second Life based on the very popular American Game Show Jeopardy. His QuizMasters Board is a virtual replica of the Jeopardy Board as seen on TV, with 5 categories of Trivia Questions. The board has 698 categories, 3300 questions of actual Jeopardy Trivia preloaded into the Machine. At the push of one button, the machine LOADS the Trivia categories for you, ready to go. All the host has to do is click on whatever question he/she decides to start the game with. All people have to do is start typing out what is hopefully the correct answer, no need to buzz in, no clicking to join the game, just start typing. The QuizMasters Board automatically recognizes the correct answer and will announce in Green Public Chat the winner of that question. Optional ScoreBoard keeps track of how many points each player has automatically. Please contact Casandra Jackson if you are interested in a sales brochure or a private demonstration at your convenience. Offline IMs are always welcome and I will call you when I come back online. |

Riddle City Ransom
06-09-2005 10:21
Riddle City Ransom (RCR) is a neo-samurai tale set in SecondLife's metaverse. The player, a SL samurai, must travel through the familiar, abstract, and surreal lands of SecondLife in search of the Seven Samurai Dieties and the ransomed Shogun Crystal. The Shogun Crystal has been stolen and placed under a dangerous curse by enemies of the metaverse. Only with the protection of the seven dieties can it be recovered. Return the Shogun Crystal to the Riddle City Ransom Shogunate Temple to receive your reward.

Minerva

Welcome to the newest game to hit Second Life (SL). A world of role playing and adventure, where you have choice of the life you wish to lead. Second Life is a virtual world - a 3D online persistent space totally created and evolved by its users. Within this vast and rapidly expanding place, you can do, create or become just about anything you can imagine. Once you have your Minerva Backpack on you can explore, buy and sell, fight or just watch the game evolve around you. You may choose to join a guild and work together on a project or maybe join a pirate community where you wait for some poor trader to pass by with their backpack laden with goods and then attack! You may choose to be that trader (buying low and selling high) heading from one end of the grid to the other, hiding your massive axe in case you are attacked then quickly bring it out and show that upstart who's the boss. Or maybe you want to be the boss and employ other people to be your traders, they go out and collect the goods and bring it back to your factory, you then use machines to combine goods to make rarer (therefore more expensive) items and sell them to the villages. Or if you a brand new player (to SL) and need money maybe you can head down the mines and start to dig for Iron Ore, Charcoal or Limestone, selling your sweat for a nice profit, or if you like the sun on your face then you can just sit around all day fishing, getting a meal or selling it on! The possibilities are endless and then every so often, something will happen that you did not expect, what do you do now! At Beta 3 - But its looking good! and the web site is going great guns! p.s. as there are not many people playing just now the supply and demand is way off! Beta players already got loads of Gold and looking to corner the market! |

BLOXsl site
09-25-2005 22:37
Ouf... thought that would be just a half hour job...
took me much more time to do it of course (had tons of problems with blogger.com)... BLOXsl is simple to an understand, quickly results in thoughful clicking mayhem, and is designed to be played for very short periods, and involves significant strategy that you discover while playing. Basically, you have two players who try to hit their goal posts with randomly moving firery balls as quickly as they can by raising and lowering tiles. On their way to their respective goal posts, they can also attack each other directly to eliminate their opponent. anyway here is the BLOXsl site http://bloxsl.blogspot.com/ I am hoping to update as regularly as possible. |

Dune Roleplay in Second Life
08-29-2007 06:42
The following Sims are offering Roleplay environments set in the world of Dune created by Frank Herbert:
Dune Imperium forum: http://sl-dune.3verse.cx/phpBB2/ Splintered Rock forum: http://dune.simtopia.org/forum wiki: http://dune.simtopia.org/wiki At some point it is hoped that cross-sim roleplay will exist between these sims but currently they are being set-up and run independently. |
