They do listen and I think they read the forums.
I posted on a thread to say that I was online in SL for nearly 7 hours today. I relogged and not even 1 hour went by and I got crashed out. They must of read my thread and thought, " not having any of that then, 7 hours, crash him when he returns and that'll teach him". See, they listened... |

So LL still makes money off the tier and have less stres placed on their hardware, lessening the work they need to do. Those who don't log in lose the fun of being with friends and in-world buisnesses (our fellow Residents) suffer a loss of profits.
Ummmm....this hurts LL how? If anything, I think everyone should log in, grab an anti idler and STAY logged in until LL fixes it. If LL's bandwidth usage shot throguh the roof, THAT might get their attention. I doubt the population numbers will as, imho, they are falsely derivived anyway. ~Jessy _____________________

I was watching over my partners shoulder the other day, ( yeah life sucks we have to share a PC lol ) while she was mentoring on Help Island public and i recall u did nothing but moan at her bro about how you couldnt make money and you havent even been in game long, just like RL these things take time and hey I know LL sucks sometimes but its not a get rich quick scheme and if all else fails then just uninstall SL and dont pay LL anymore money  Or you could use the anger you have and channel that energy into something positive in SL and maybe if put the same energy into constructive stuff as u do destructive u just may succeed  I will also have to go along with Jessica's post as well but really if SL isnt any fun anymore and causing you this much anger then just leave and find somewhere else better to play cos for all its faults and problems atm its all we got apart from that it might save you money on future counselling sessions when u finally lose it Peace bro _____________________

They'd all get up and pat each other on the back saying what a good job they're doing to get that much concurrency and decide that since people will obviously log on no matter what they can all take the rest of the month off? Yep cant win. |

The fundemental issue of striking is, to withdraw your labour/service from the employer..... so not going into SL for periods of time, will hurt who?
If we all paid by the hour/minute etc, then I agree, striking would do something to gain attention from LL.... but 'Reality Check'... you still have to pay the basic revenues such as premium account (assuming you have one), tier on any land you own, or rent etc..... The only result you could possibly gain, is to give LL guys a day off as the grid would be unused..... Yeah, that would certainly make them sit up and listen to 'our' demands....... NOT. As a matter of interest Edy.... you didn't enter the winter olympics as a ski jumper by any chance in the past? (Brits will get this one) _____________________

Yes, I'm from the UK but wouldn't go as far as "Sun reader". As for Milton Keynes, I nearly visited once but the IRA had other plans. A bomb scare meant our Inter City train had to halt in the middle of the nowhere and my rural friend picked me up from there. I'm still not sure what sights there are to see in Milton Keynes, but The Style Council made a nice song about the place..and people keep mentioning cows and roundabouts when I quiz them. _____________________
