Personally, I feel the new shiny has a more metallic look that is really unachievable using current means, and I like that. However, I disagree with how the new feature has been imposed on us. Id rather there have been a new "Reflect Ground" checkbox that enabled us to toggle between the new shiny and old shiny behavior.
