Snapshot to Disk

Erk.. this would be a 1.8 issue, sorry about that. =)

There is no 1.8 feedback thread yet, so post it here anyway.

I've taken snapshots to disk in 1.8, and it worked fine. Did one yesterday, in fact. Has it been not working for you?

No, it's been horrifying since 1.8, I don't have any guarantee that I can take a snapshot most of the time. I posted in Technical Issues, but no one's taken a look at it yet.

Pretty weird stuff, isn't it?

I keep thinking it has to be a conflict with something I'm running in the background, but that wouldn't explain why it stopped working when 1.8 came out. =\
