All of my text in chat is black upon log in. This includes system messages, object messages, etc. No problem, I thought. I just made them different, lighter, colors and saved. However, upon relog they had reverted right back to the same black. I once again, changed and saved. No dice. Relog... reverted. This is very annoying.

Mine too! I even tried updating my drivers and doing a fresh install, niether of them worked!

It isn't all chat - it is only chat that you foolishly changed the color of (like I did) It seems that whoever wrote the code to READ color data from the shiny new XML prefs file is in love with the color black. If you leave a color as default, it never gets written, never gets read, and works. If you change one, next time you log in, it gets misread and is black from then on Already bug-reported it. |

And you change the color and when you log off and come back is black again!! It is hard to read on dark places... Please Lindens, change this.. hard to chat with friends!
