see that is the difference,
a reasonable person asks a question about things, Someone who thinks they are "special" questions people about things.
had you ask questions about how it was done instead of whinning about how YOU didn't know because people didn't go to enought effort to make sure that YOU knew about it.
Why is it that peopel should be above common curtesy and good manners? you can ask questions without attacking. and what makess you think your questions are important enough to be be addressed in a thread about thanking those who did take the time to find out about it and participate? Why is it you managed to find this thread but none of those before it?

You seem to be the worst sort of person to argue with - it's apparent that you believe that nothing should be questioned and resort to abuse of those who do. That doesn't seem real mature to me, but then hey apparently I think I'm "special" by your reasoning. If you really think I've been attacking then any sort of questions must appear to be an attack to you.

It's the same old same old with some people. If you dare question things, rather than joining in the group hug and love in, you're painted as some sort of self-centered, egotistical whining individual, who's only doing it because they're either jealous or think they're something special. What a joke some of you are.

It's kind of like having big protectionist gangs roaming the forums, slapping down anybody who doesn't toe the line and join in the group hug without reservation.

i don't need a link, i managed all by my poor lil immature self to find teh posts and go vote, i even found the location for the vote without a ingraved invitation, without global banners telling me about it. No i have no problem with asking questions

It is you who does not get it, that there is a difference between askin questions and pissing on someones good feelings.
i Love peopel who hide behind attacks on others with "im just asking a question" you didn't ask any questions you basically said that because you hadn't heard about it that it wasn't really all inclusive later you offered to help but not til you had nade sure that everyone knew that you thought it was poorly done and you could have done better.
Again ask all the questions you want but do it in a positive manner or don't you know how?

Whilst I'm sure a lot of effort was put into this, what still bemuses me is that I cannot find a single thread, announcement or posting that asked people to nominate, that announced who the nominations where and which asked people to vote. Nothing. Nada. And you spent 2 months planning this??

A lot of people didn't have the faintest idea that this was happening, as was highlighted by a thread you started recently about the person designing the award object.

I can't understand why you'd put so much effort into something and apparently not push the initial nomination and voting part of it. Not having done so makes these awards seem kind of pointless. It's basically a poll of the minority who knew about it, and that detracts a great deal from the grandeur of what you've actually done.
