as sad as I am to hear this news I do agree that first life first. If you truelly feel that SL is negatively impacting FL you are right to leave SL (at least for now). I am really sorry to hear that you are leaving though

I was only really slowly coming to know you as a person on sl, and like many people here, feeling that while things change here people are *always* around, imagined that I would know you better as time went on. What I *did* know of you I liked very much, and therefore I find that I am very sad to see you go, although you make your reasoning very clear.

I do hope that one day you will come back to us again, and this time will manage to keep all your lives in balance.

i come here not to plea, but to shine a light on your impact upon SL.

simply read through this entire thread... AND take notice.

take notice of WHO is coming out of the woodwork simply due to their personal need to do so. you are a long time SLer and many of us will be sorry to see you go; however, in this list.. many will understand as well.

my personal statement is thus:

may your RL gracefully smooth out and steer itself back in the direction you know it should have been following all along. take time to refelct on what SL has done to enrich your RL as well. we will be here.. some may leave, but many will be here for a long time to come.. as well as a few who will never leave.
no matter how long you need to take away from SL, there will always be at least one pair of arms to use any number of *hug* anims to welcome you back.

or at least a bow.

This, Cybin, gave me pause to think. I started looking back at some of the #s from some of the posts written by friends and was brought still by what your sentence made clear. There really are many people that care for me and my welfare. Thank you for opening my eyes.

RL is in the process of being ironed out and I am confident that compromises will be met and that in a short time I will be able to return to SL with a better outlook. I hope to see you all very soon.

Trin, I'm wholly convinced that it will take time... but I hope that you and Nala will find your personal equilibrium, and balance things out... and then you'll be back here, healthier and happier. In hindsight, it will all look clearer.

As one of the only 3 people in Second Life who have seen me face to face - I will miss you very much... In RL I'll never forget the you and your friend (they can stay in the closet for now

taking time out to have a beer with me last Christmas when I would have been spending it alone.

You guys will never know how much that meant to me at the time.

In SL I'll miss the random acts of chaos -- be it dressing up as a tart and hanging off a cutout of Lee Linden... or bouncing around through PG sims on a giant rubber penis.

I always had fun with you guys - and I'm gonna miss it.
