Thank you all so much for taking the time to wish Killian a speedy recovery and rest assured, your thoughts, prayers and good vibes are truly appreciated. He got on his computer for a little while tonight and read each of your posts and they really cheered him up. Things like this really shake up your comfort level and make you realize how life can change in the blink of an eye. While losing one of our family's cars is a major inconvienence, it's nothing compared to what could have happened. I'm so grateful that Killian escaped with nothing more than some scrapes and bruising, including the seat-belt shaped bruise across his chest and shoulder. Killian wanted to respond himself, but after about 30 minutes of messing around in SL, he was starting to get pretty uncomfortable and he went back to bed. I, of course, being the good little wifey, tucked him in.  He wants me to express his thanks to all of you for being such good friends and wishing him well. *group hug*

From: Siobhan OFlynn I'm sorry. I haven't had the time to sit and post about Killian's accident until now. It happened yesterday afternoon at around 4:30 pm (on his way home from work). He was trying to cross an intersection and got "T-boned" by a small delivery truck. He is ok, just banged up really good and sore as hell. The car is totalled. Looking at what's left of our mangled Toyota Matrix, I am just grateful that my husband is still alive. Thanks for the get well wishes. I'll pass them along to Killian with a kiss from you OUCH! Add one from me! (I'd send a hug but his ribs probably hurt from either the steering wheel or the airbag -- okay, kiss the poor little car for me, too!)
