No offense, but I really doubt that this is going to get off the ground.

You see, normally when newcomers log on for the first time they are met by hundreds of people, and these people guide them to major events. Once they know how to teleport, they don't want to waste time going from place to place by bus.

Previously someone here wanted to start a transportation service, but she later decided (with help from posters) that this wasn't a good idea, and that it's best that she tries to do something else that people in SL need.

EDIT: If you give us more information then it may be possible to see what you are trying to achieve.

Sounds like a great idea. :)

I always suggest exploration to newbies and this does exactly that, show them the sights!

It sounds like this might be coming from a "business" perspective and not an "entertainment" perspective. Sometimes it's about whether it might be fun to take a tour on a bus. I applaud this attempt to do something different. Do we really need another poseball or clothing creator?

Phil, let me know when you get going with this. I'd be interested to check this out for the entertainment value.

Yes, you're right that it is more entertainment than business, I'm more business oriented ;)

But as I said, I'm not sure it will be a success. Go to this old topic for some details on the proposed Transportation System, which is just a larger idea than this one: /108/2b/104696/1.html

Remember, you also need to figure out how you're going to get that many people on a bus (think of the prim limit...)

Geez, I'm just saying... I would personally do something else unless I had everything set up perfectly plus a backup plan.

Phil, if you are interested in touring the State of Caledon, there are some 19th c. vehicles available, notably balloons for touring.
Contact Ms Ordinal Malaprop of the Transportation Ministry, I'm sure she could set you up with an appropriate vehicle for our time and technology.

Anything such for say, around $L 1000, I'll cover for you myself. Just refer Ordinal to this post, and I'm sure she can 'put it on my tab' and let me know.

Warm regards and good luck with your business.

Truly? Man, I do everything wrong...

Honestly, the tour bus idea sounds super. I very much enjoy the swan boat tour at Riverwalk and the train tour at Provocative Paradise. Teleporting's all very well to get from one place to another, but I like to see what's in-between.
