When you leave SL, I promise not to tell you I love you.

Sky, you were the first person I met in SL (not counting that silly parrot on Orientation Island). You were so friendly, and I got such a great first impression of SL because of that. It's a shame you're leaving. I do hope it's not permanent.

I know I haven't seen you much in the year since we first met, but I'll miss you. Good luck and best wishes, wherever you go.




Oh, and by the way:

Excuse me, but what good does it do to IM someone inworld if they aren't planning on being in world anymore. Call me crazy, but doesn't "I'm leaving SL" mean "I'm not going into SL anymore"? Not everyone uses IM to E-mail, you know, and somehow I doubt someone who's decided to leave would choose to keep it turned on, even assuming the account has not been terminated. In the words of the immortal Ferris Bueller, "Where's your brain?"

Forget it.

You all have put tons of "Sorry you're leaving" messages on here anyway. Combine these with all the other people who've said they're leaving, then come back and then leave again, and you have a slush of thousands and thousands of goodbye messages. It gets tiring seeing them all the time

Well Sky it has been great knowing you. Sucks i haven't been able to log in game for a long time now due to my network No idea when i'll get back in either, but hopefully by then you'll be back for a visit or something.

As my memory serves me i still owe you a belt hehe So you better be back to get it when i finally get it made

Ha, I noticed it too, but Sky's been talking about leaving for months for personal reasons.

There's some other reasons why it couldn't be Sky, as well... first name is different, for one.

When I think back on all the times I've sat here, laughing so hard my sides hurt and tears were streaming down my face - the majority of those times, you were involved

Without you, I would never have tried DJing, ballet danced at the welcome area, flown across an island hanging from an umbrella, and probably not met the person that has now become my best friend and partner.

You will be missed... hell, you already are missed

sky, you were the first real friend i met in this game. we've had a million good times together....i just assumed that you would always be there...youre the only person i gave a copy of my hair to. i have a gagillion pictures in my inventory of the crazy stuff we did at the welcome area and PI, and the Outback Club, and the edge, and eros, and the tower in magenta, and on and on...every single special person i know now i met through you. i met a person that means the world to me because we both, like everyone else that you touched were drawn to your wonderful sense of humor and the way you always have something fun to do with everyone invited. one in a million avis here have something different. something i cant explain...an aura. you can tell theres someone good behind that computer. thanks to you, ive been lucky enough to meet two such people. (youre one of them and my special freind and partner is the other.) theres gonna be a huge hole in SL now without you there. i wish you could have talked to me about was going on before you decided to leave, unfortunately, because i lost sight of what is really important, i was not there for you at the time and i regret it badly. you have been my best friend here and you will be sorely missed by more people than i can count, none more than me i think. please reconsider.
