It's a pity you don't have the courage to post your thoughts here, because you know they are inappropriate, not only for a person in your position, but in the forums generally.

If that is really how little you feel about the community you are supposed to oversee, and have a position of respect in, you should have quit a long time ago.

I'd say I was disappointed in you but frankly it doesn't matter what you think of me, the fact that you feel the need to denigrate me on a third party forum where there will be no comeback shows just what a loser you really are.

Why won't there be a come back ? You've certainly posted there enough already, what's one more ? I don't see anything wrong with what she posted and where she posted. Rightly so, she probably would have come under LL persecution. The countdown to when you submitted your persecution though was quite timely. I set my watch as a matter of fact.

It would really suck to have earned an indelible reputation as a bigoted, weak-chinned asshole.

I feel really bad for anyone who would be saddled with such a burden. Perhaps the factionization of the forums will provide a new beginning for such individuals.

What misguided impression are you under that its appreciated there either? You're still attacking the same people for no reason whatsoever. The fact you decided to crosspost here only adds to the drama you are creating to draw attention to yourself.

Agreed. I think someone needs a rethink, and perhaps some soul searching to come to terms with their own reflection in this world.

And if all of that does not work, Tom Cruise might disagree but there's a vast landscape of drugs we can try to fix this treacherous ailment.

Well Louie Louie actually a great deal of people appreciated her post and its good to see not all resmods are power hungry morons trying to pretend to be Linden Lab employees! You need a kick in the ass from the Queen herself to make you realize that your opinions are just that your opinions and not something that everybody has to swallow!

Yet when other people do exactly the same thing, I'm expected to just accept it as their 'right to free speech' (which is not a right, its a privilege).

You expect me to just sit back and smile when someone throws a personal attack at me? Of course I'm not, as would most people not either.

When I share my opinions it's wrong, because I don't fall in line with whatever happens to be fashionable or PC - yet everyone else can do what they like.

Maeve, my hand is extended in thanks and gratitude. Moderating sucks, I do it for another forum and know exactly what you've been through. Sometimes you get to play the hero, but more often you have to be the kill-joy bitch. You will have your fans and your detractors. And, yes, you never get to tell people who are flaming assholes just exactly what you think of them. In most places, this is called being a class act. Taking the high road every time is incredibly difficult...

You are right, LL set you all up in a no-win situation from the outset. Moderation from anyone without a Linden name and full powers was doomed from the start. Unless you are the "admin," you will never carry the respect of the forum participants, and even then you have to earn that respect through consistant behavior and treating your forum poeple with respect even when they don't deserve it.

The one thing no one can take from you is your integrity.

I don't really know enough about Lewis one way or another; any thread he's been present with me in I've found him generally reasonable and appropriate so I can't comment on the feelings/impressions of another.

That having been said I have deep respect for Maeve after reading that and I don't fault her for putting it on a third party site. You all know if she posted it here the thread wouldn't be locked, it'd be deleted. I'm sure she's already been yelled at by the Great Linden Powers for this act of insubordination.

i agree, and furthermore, if she posted those things here, ZOMG RESMOD ATTACKS, LL REP OFFICIALLY INSULTS RESIDENTS would most likely end up being the last post in general!

she had to make a statement that it was she the person instead of she the designated rep from LL

putting it on another forum does just that

you haters are just mad because either

1) You are too afraid to go to that thread to talk smack back
2) You would have preferred she did it from her resmod account so you could get angry at that
